Joe Ledoux
‘Joe Ledoux believes that magic is not about tricks and entertainment, but rather that Magic is a Fine Art. His whole life has been devoted to a path of ‘Art as Magic," and he blends his three favorite art forms: sleight of hand, skateboarding, and painting.
Joe has performed in many galleries and museums, including the Dorchester Art Project and the Institute of Contemporary Art. He was named a Polly Thayer Starr Artist at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum.
He is a member of the McBride Magic and Mystery School in Las Vegas, and also performed with Le Grand David - which held the Guinness world record for the longest running magic show.
Joe has been mentored by some of the best artists in the world, including: director of the Simpsons Mark Kirkland, magic star Jeff McBride, and legendary animator Ralph Bakshi, who passed down a painting trick to Joe that was taught to him by Norman Rockwell.
Joe also invented and published a new theory on how to visualize a HyperCube, and the acclaimed mathematician Thomas Banchoff (who consulted for Salvador Dali) told him it was "Nice Work."' ‘
